Winners Revealed: Environmental Champions Award

At FMM, sustainability is more than a slogan, it’s a culture powered by our people and aligned with Qatar’s vision for a sustainable future. Through initiatives like the Environmental Champions Competition, we proudly contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and support one of the key pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030: Environmental Development.

Our COO, Koldo Aimar Colorado Larrabe, and HSEQ Manager, Abdul Asees Chevidikkunnan, honored the winners of the competition whose initiatives have contributed tangible impact across operations:

• Jessica Jung, who introduced advanced eco-friendly chemicals and innovative cleaning solutions at Hamad International Airport, setting new benchmarks for sustainable soft-services practices.

• Juan José García, who led a seabed clean-up at Porto Arabia, removing tons of waste and restoring marine life in one of Qatar’s most iconic waterfronts.

• Arun Patel & Team, who implemented energy-saving measures that significantly reduced environmental footprint, proving that operational excellence and sustainability go hand in hand.
