Love Ball Arabia: Charity Gala and Auction
We attended Love Ball Arabia fund raising event at the Museum of Islamic Art, where donations funded a new community center at Shafallah Centre for people with intellectual disabilities and autism over 21 years old in Qatar. The event benefited both Shafallah Centre and the Naked Heart Foundation.
Concept:
- Support the establishment of a new community centre for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism above 21 years old
- To promote collaboration between Shafallah Centre and Naked Heart Foundation, enabling the community to support the efforts of both organizations.
Objectives:
- Raise funds for the new community centre at Shafallah Centre
- Highlight the importance of supporting people with special needs and promoting their inclusion in society
- Increased awareness and support for people with intellectual disabilities and autism
Outcomes:
- Raised QAR 27,207,333 from charity gala, which half of the sum went to the construction of new Shafallah community centre
- Provided children with additional top-quality care, services, and new educational facilities, helping them adapt to their environment and integrate into the community
